The Legislative Yuan started voting on the general budget bill today (14th). In the morning, three bills - "restarting nuclear power", "whipping" and "traffic fines" - were passed. They will be voted together with the nine-in-one general election on November 28 at the end of this year. Among them, whipping proposed by KMT legislator Hong Mengkai was narrowly passed by one vote when eight members of the People's Party refused to express their stance.
