台南爆炸

A fire broke out in an open space in Annan District early this morning. The waste pile was suspected to be mixed with slag waste. Unexpectedly, a violent explosion occurred during the extinguishing. 3 firefighters and 6 people were injured on the scene, and 3 fire trucks and 1 ambulance were burned. Fortunately, before the explosion, the commander evacuated a group of water lines and replaced them with water column turrets to avoid further damage. The fire broke out at around 1 a.m. today. Nearby residents woke up from their sleep and went out to see the fire. The open space where the slag was piled at the scene was burning violently. A large number of bright white flames continued to erupt from the fire scene during the extinguishing process, and even unknown sparks shot out from time to time.
