The term “academic year” refers to the period of time allotted for teaching and learning in schools and universities. This term is currently at the top of search engines in Saudi Arabia due to recent announcements from the Ministry of Education about the new academic calendar for the years 1448-1449 AH. These announcements include school start dates and vacations, in addition to final exam schedules for the year 1448 AH, which arouses the interest of students and parents. The academic year represents the focus of the educational process, around which all academic and administrative activities in educational institutions are organized.
