An online post claiming that SK Hynix lost 2.2 billion won in total assets by investing in a single-stock leveraged exchange-traded fund (ETF) was revealed to be fabricated. On the 30th of last month, a post was uploaded to the secondhand trading platform 'Danggeun' stating, "I lost all 2.2 billion won of assets I had saved over 40 years and am completely bankrupt as of today." The author, Mr. A, attached a screen that appeared to be a securities account and said, "Trust this government and act accordingly."
