Samsung, ranked second in professional baseball, has replaced its Asian quota players. Samsung announced today (7th) that it requested KBO to announce waiver of existing Asian quota pitcher Yura Miyaji (Japan) and recruited Japanese pitcher Satoshi Miyamori for a total of $73,000 including transfer fee for the remainder of this season. Right-hander Miyamori joined Japanese professional baseball team Rakuten as a training player in 2022 and will play in the first team until 2025.
