A skit occurred in which Japanese pitcher Okada Akitake (33), a member of professional baseball's first Futures (Second Division) league civic club Ulsan Wales, was canceled due to an administrative error by the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO). As a result of this paper's coverage, Okada's transfer to LG was ultimately not decided. Ulsan and LG, who had originally concluded negotiations for Okada's transfer, were scheduled to officially announce the transfer around 2:30 pm on the 12th. The transfer fee is 40,000 won.
