The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare announced on the 19th that it will review the Labor Standards Inspection Office's guidance regarding overtime work in companies starting in September. Even companies that are allowed to work overtime in excess of 45 hours per month by agreement between labor and management are required to limit overtime to 45 hours or less.
