The fire brigade is the central organization for firefighting, technical assistance and rescue services in Germany. It is currently in focus because the Dresden fire department had to deal with numerous fires on May 1st - including burning barricades, garbage containers and vehicles. A stroller fire in a hallway resulted in several people being injured. Their rapid deployment is crucial for the safety of the population, especially in such incidents.
